Day 1
Vancouver → Bella Coola
The journey opens with an Indigenous welcome in Vancouver, then leads into Bella Coola’s wild beauty, ending in a remote lodge in the heart of the rainforest with a local dinner.

Day 2
Entering Grizzly Territory
With the possibility of encountering a grizzly in the wild, the day unfolds through salmon runs, eagles above, Indigenous wisdom, and a shared seasonal dinner.

Listening to the Rainforest
Along the Atnarko River, the salmon run draws grizzlies into the open, revealing one of the Great Bear Rainforest’s most powerful and unforgettable spectacles.

Day 4
Learning in Nuxalk Land
In Nuxalk territory, estuaries, fjords, and waterfalls frame a way of life shaped by salmon, ancestral knowledge, and deep respect for the land.

Following the Coastline
Closing the circle In Vancouver, an Indigenous-guided reflection on stewardship, reciprocity, and resilience closes the expedition, while its deeper journey continues beyond return, in memory, responsibility, and action.
